Sam and I went hiking with his family yesterday in Darby Canyon. We had never been on this hike before. There is rumor this is the last year the cave will be open, so we thought we might as well take advantage of it while we can. It was beautiful and good to be with family. The closer to the cave, the colder it got. The cave was fun for the boys to explore but a little cold and dark for my me.
Story of this Monument
In 1951, 5 people died after being struck by lightning below the wind cave.
